Who was David?
David was from the tribe of Judah and is thought to have lived around 1000 B.C…
He served as King of Israel for 40 years.
Before he was King, he was a shepherd and a musician.
The Lord gave David victory over Goliath.
He went on to conquer and build-up Jerusalem.
Throughout his life, he wrote nearly half the Book of Psalms.
Seeing the accomplishments God had given David, one must wonder, was David perfect in the eyes of God?
David was considered Israel’s greatest King.
But he was not without faults or without sin!
He was guilty of many sins, including ADULTRY and MURDER!
Only our Saviour, Jesus Christ, was sinless and perfect.
Despite David’s sins, God still used him for his Glory.
Every one of us also have faults and sin, and like David, God still uses us for his Glory.
